The attack on the Butte 5 November 1916

19 May 2019

We are delighted our first history article is now live on the website. What can be more fitting that publishing Roland Bradford's report regarding the attack on the Butte on 5 November 1916. The article which was published in the WFA's Memorial Dedication Booklet Issue - 1990 makes absolutely superb reading. Take 5 minutes out and have a read of what actually happened that day. The Butte had become in Bradford's words 'an obsession.' Click on Butte History above and then click on Post 1914.
